I possess an earned Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies (D. E. A.) de Géosciences de l’Environnement (Environmental Geosciences) specializing in Geochemistry and Metallogenesis within Benthic Marine Environments from l’Université de Pierre et Marie CURIE – Paris VI in Paris, FRANCE; a B. S. degree in Chemistry and a B. A. in French from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
Skills and Expertise
Since 2002, my professional work experience as a University/College Level Educator includes the following course subjects:
Introductory General Chemistry, Intermediate Chemistry; Introduction to Geology, Physical Geology, Environmental Geology; Introduction to Earth Science, Integrated Earth Sciences and Earth System Science.
I have successfully engaged students of diverse backgrounds effectively, whether small groups or large class size [in person and/or via Instructional Television (ITV)], and am experienced with the rigors of teaching 6- and 8-Week Summer Session courses as well as Semester and Quarter length courses during the Academic year.
