My Research Background

I specialize in Organic and Inorganic contaminant remobilization from soils and sediments within aqueous environments. My current interests include the environmental fate of Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs), and Heavy metal(loid) trace elements present in surface and groundwater systems.

As a published Environmental Geochemist and Independent Researcher, I bring a wealth of knowledge gleaned from not only from my own research collaborations, but also by actively participating in several Professional organizations [i. e., American Chemical Society (ACS), Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM), European Association of Geochemistry (EAG), and European Geosciences Union (EGU)].

Frequently attending various Scientific workshops, seminars, and/or conferences (either in person or online), I endeavour to keep current within my research fields as a committed life-long learner. I also consult, have experience as a Scientific writer and editor, and personally maintain two Scientific Blogs.
